- The last day to accept Federal Student Loans and PLUS Loans for the 23-24 Aid Year is Wednesday, May 15th.
- The 2024-25 FAFSA form is now available at studentaid.gov. The Department of Education is still finalizing adjustments to the FAFSA process and anticipates releasing applications to schools in small batches over the course of several weeks. At this time, we are not able to determine when UB will receive application information. Visit our FAFSA Simplification website for additional information and guidance on how to complete the new FAFSA form.
- The NYS Excelsior Scholarship application for new applicants for the Fall 2024 semester will be available on May 23rd, 2024. The application will close on August 31, 2024. The application will be available at the Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) website.

Any student who is enrolled in a payment plan will have their payment plan balance adjusted on May 3rd. Your balance may increase or decrease, depending on what your actual balance is in HUB. Student Accounts: Check your UB email for your Spring 2024 E-Bill notification
Don’t forget to check your @buffalo.edu email address for the fourth Spring eBill notification. The due date is May 22, 2024. Pay your bill online by clicking on Billing/Payments in your HUB Student Center and then click on Payment Options. If you are an authorized payer, log into your Authorized Payer site.
All eligibility requirements and document requests must be fulfilled by the earlier of the award specific deadline or April 15 of the academic year in which you are seeking funds. Documents received, or changes to eligibility after this date may not be considered.
