Leaving UB

When you are preparing to leave UB (at the completion of your degree, when you withdraw from classes or transfer to another school) it is important that you make sure all financial aid requirements have been satisfied.

Use the following checklist as a guide to confirm your requirements have been met:

  • Complete all outstanding items on your To Do List in HUB Student Center.
  • Review your current financial aid package to make sure all funds have disbursed to your account.
  • Check your account to make sure your balance has been paid in full.
  • If you are a Direct Loan and/or Perkins Loan borrower you will be required to complete exit counseling which will provide you with the information you need to select the appropriate repayment plan and keep your loan in good standing.

Contact a financial aid advisor if you have any questions or concerns about your financial aid.

Information is subject to change without notice due to changes in federal, state and/or institutional rules and regulations. Students must complete a FAFSA every year. Students must be making satisfactory academic progress to continue to receive financial aid.
